Well, it is Monday, again. Becky and I are really tired. We closed on our new 'to us' home on Thursday and the people who lived there apparently didn't do much before then in the way of packing, moving, etc. So, they were out by Sunday around noon. We moved most of Aaron's stuff to his room, plus a lot of boxes. The plants, which are officially mine, were moved earlier and put out of the way. After church yesterday morning, we took a 16 foot flatbed full of packed boxes and another 6 foot trailer with some furnishings on it. We are excited that God has blessed us with our own home. However, I really hate moving...LOL. The Mobile home is a Town and Country 28 x 66 doublewide with two decks on it. The living area isn't real big, but it's cozy. We do have a fire place though. On the back deck, there is an eight person hot tub that does work. I was thinking about how nice it would have been to be able just to soak in it after yesterday's hard work. I planted 5 crape mirtles, two rose bushes, and moved several other plants around to prepare for planting. The good thing is........no more rent. Thank you Lord for allowing Becky and me to experience country living...It's 7 miles outside of Carthage on FM 1970. I actually moved closer to Chase. Now he can't say it's to far to come see me. LOL. Not that he really does anyway.
The second picture is the picture of the gang. Mean looking raschals, aren't we? From L to R in the back are; Becky, me, Chase and his wife, my daughter-in-law, Jill. On the front are Mark, David, Aaron, and Ryan. David is in College Station this week, and Aaron is in Aberdene, Maryland serving in the Army, while training. Chase and Jill live just down the road from us, while Mark, a Tiger footballball player, and Ryan, a YMCA you Maverick basketball player, both live in Corsicana. Please pray with me that all of these kids will know the Lord soon. Three of them claim it, but we still pray they will know it for sure.
